"Here you can see some scenes from the story. Try to describe what is happening, who the characters are, what they are saying, and what they might be feeling."

Other possible questions:

  1. Who is Lisa? Why does she travel to London?
  2. What happens at the airport? Who’s Diana?
  3. Can you describe what happens when Lisa is in her room at the hotel?
  4. What activities do the characters do during their first days in London?
  5. When do the finalists arrive in London and what do they do that day?
  6. What kind of competition are they in? 
  7. What is your favorite part of the story and why?
  8. What typical London places or objects appear in the story?
  9. Do you think Lisa likes London? Why or why not?
  10. Which character do you like the most?
  11. What values or attitudes are important in the story? (e.g., teamwork, effort, respect)



PERSONAL QUESTIONS:

On the other hand, you will have to answer some personal questions using the grammar and vocabulary from Units 1, 2, and 3.
The questions will be similar to these:

General questions:

  • Can you tell me about your daily routine?

  • What do you do in your free time?

  • Can you describe your family and your friends?

  • What is your school like? (subjects, places, etc.)

If you need extra help to answer those questions, I will ask you some simpler or more direct questions to guide you. Be ready to answer some of these possible questions:

FAMILY AND FRIENDS

Have you got any best friend at school? Tell me about him/her.  Where does your best friend live?    What does your best friend look like?    What is your best friend’s name?           What does she/he like doing?   What does she/he hate?         How often do you hang out with your friends?

How often do you listen to music? What’s your favourite type of music? Do you play video games? Who do you play with? How often do you chat online? Who do you chat with? When do you chat online? What is your favourite leisure time activity? How often do you read? What do you read? Do you enjoy reading? What is your favorite book? How often do you go shopping? Who do you go shopping with? How often do you hang out with your friends? Where do you hang out? What is your favourite place? What’s your favorite leisure activity? Do you have any favorite movies or TV shows? Tell me about your daily routine…. What time do you wake up? What’s the first thing you do when you wake up? What do you do next? What time do you finish school? What do you usually do after school? What about weekends? Do you do different activities? Tell me about your mom or dad’s daily routine.

AT THE WEEKEND

What do you enjoy doing at the weekend? What do you usually do on weekends? Do you wakecvup late on weekends? Do you watch movies or TV shows on weekends? Do you spend time with family or friends on weekends? Do you go shopping on weekends? Do you visit parks or outdoor places on weekends? Do you enjoy cooking on weekends? Do you go out to eat on weekends? Do you take naps on weekends? Do you go for walks on weekends? How often do you go for a ride bike at the weekend?

SCHOOL
